Stillwave is a wellness app that plays audio frequencies to help ease motion sickness. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (almost nothing) and how we handle it.

Scope

This privacy policy covers the Stillwave iOS app. The Stillwave website (stillwaveapp.com) uses Mixpanel for anonymous, cookie-less analytics (page views, button clicks, scroll depth). No personal data is collected on the website either.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:

No account or registration required
No name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers
No location data
No usage analytics or tracking in the iOS app
No advertising frameworks
No data is sent to any server — the iOS app works entirely offline

Data Stored on Your Device

Stillwave stores one piece of information locally on your device: a simple true/false flag (via UserDefaults) to remember whether you've seen the introductory screens. This data never leaves your device.

Audio & Microphone

Stillwave generates audio tones using your device's audio engine. It does not record audio, access your microphone for recording purposes, or process any sound from your environment.

Third-Party Services

The Stillwave iOS app does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or data processors. The Stillwave website uses Mixpanel for anonymous analytics — no cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.

Children's Privacy

Stillwave does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. Since we collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
